PARENTING SUPPORT
Growing as a Parent Begins with Understanding Your Own Story
Being a parent can be deeply rewarding, and also incredibly challenging. I offer parent support and coaching to help you better understand how your own history shapes the ways you parent and develop practical tools for navigating day-to-day parenting challenges with more confidence, compassion, and connection.

Become the Parent You Want To Be
When we make sense of our own developmental histories, attachment experiences, and patterns of relating, we can develop insight into what makes certain parenting moments difficult and learn to break generational cycles that limit parent effectiveness. Through reflection on your own history, building insight into implicit biases, and learning practical attunement skills, you can develop skills to respond to your children with greater confidence, clarity, and compassion, and build the kind of family relationships you want – both now and for the future.

How Your Story Shows Up in Your Parenting
Our first relationships, typically those within our own family, shape how we see ourselves, how we handle conflict and big emotions, and what feels safe or threatening in close relationships. These internal patterns form a roadmap for relationships throughout our lives, implicitly shaping how we see ourselves and what we expect from others. When we become parents, we bring the same implicit understandings and expectations into our relationships with our children, and we often find ourselves repeating the exact same patterns with our kids that we once found confusing, painful, or frustrating in our childhood relationships with our own parents.

Parenting support sessions offer a space to explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion, not judgment, so you can understand what is underneath the surface driving your reactions in difficult parenting moments. We then use this new insight to help you understand your children on a deeper level, make choices that better align with your core values, and respond to your child in ways that support their development and your relationship.
